Garden Design Service
We work collaboratively with our clients, listening to their specific requirements to ensure that the garden design or landscaping brief is clear and has been understood. Our aim is to reflect as closely as possible the tastes and style of the client’s home so that there is a strong visual relationship between the inside and outside spaces.
The process to create your garden usually happens as follows.
Consultation – The most important part of the whole process – where we get the chance to discuss what you would like from your garden.
Outline Garden Design – A concept design ready for review. An ideal time for you to talk through your likes, dislikes and any concerns you might have. Seeing a space come to life is often where we find clients start to get very excited about their gardens’ potential, so we see this as a very valuable discussion.
Detailed Outline Design – A highly considered outline design with every detail fully worked in. Here you can really see how your new garden is going to look on completion.
Planting Design – Thankfully, everyone is different when it comes to plant favourites. We hand pick plants based on your preferences that will work for your garden. We like to consider spacing, year round interest and structure when we approach our plant selection and the planting design helps to cover all of those aspects. All plants will be shown in place with a plant list.
Construction Drawings – These drawings help our hard landscaper to construct any build aspects as per the detailed outline design.
Scope of Works and Specification – A written document outlining all construction elements, contractor logistics, materials to be used and exact processes that are to be employed on site.
Tender Management – We issue all of the required documentation (scope of works/plans) to our landscape contractors. We know how they work which helps us to secure fair quotes and translate our vision.
Project Management – We understand that your life is a busy one so we can take the strain of your garden transformation. The project manager will organise contractor logistics, co-ordinate deliveries and will be on site regularly to make sure budgets, schedules and standards are being met.
